THE WAKE OF THE SPACE PLASMA GENERATED BY LOW ORBIT SPACECRAFT

摘要: 建立起一个低轨道航天器引起的等离子体尾流的二维计算机模式,结果表明:(1)尾流的宽度随表面负电位值的增加而变窄。(2)随离子马赫数增加尾流位垒变宽。(3)对正电位表面情况尾流近区有电子聚集,并且离子的放空更远。Abstract: A computer two-dimension simulation model of the plasma wake generated by low orbit spacecraft in developed.Calculated results show:(1)With the increase of negative surface potential the wake becomes narrower.(2)With the increase of ion Mach number the potential well becomes wider and deeper.(3)The electrons are concentrated in the near wake region when the surface potential is positive while the ions are depleted in a larger region than when surface potential is negative.
