THE MAGNETOSPHERE-IONOSPHERE COUPLING EFFECT DURING THE STORM OF 12-14,SEPT.1993

摘要: 采用具有明确物理意义的多个地磁指数,以及地面台站链观测的地磁和电离层参数,对一次典型磁暴期内从极光区到赤道附近电离层电流、电场演化发展的耦合过程作了具体分析.结果表明,地磁指数和观测参数能较好地说明磁层-电离层耦合理论结果的主要特征.Abstract: The geomagnetic indias, such as the ring current inflation rate, the aurora electrojet indices AU AL and the mid-latitude geomagnetic index ASY-H and the geomagnetic H-and Z-componen, the ionospheric data f0F2 and h'F observed in China, are used for analysing the evolution of disturbed ionospheric current and electric field during a typical storm. It is shown that the geomagnetic indices and observed parameters can reflect the main features of the magnetosphere -ionosphere coupling.
