Professional Experience:

Quanqi Shi is a Professor of Institute of Space Science, Shandong University, China. He leads a group studying the dynamical interaction in the solar wind - Earth’s magnetosphere - lunar environment system. He received his bachelor, master and doctor degree from the School of Earth and Space Sciences, Peking University. His research interests include space microscale magnetic structures, Earth-Moon space environment, and the development of space neutron and high-energy charged particle detectors. He was awarded the Sunanda and Santimay Basu Early Career Award in Sun-Earth Systems Science by AGU (2017), Newton Advanced Fellowship by the Royal Society, UK (2019), and Distinguished Young Scientist award by NSF China (2022).
