Abstract: In this paper, a new method for the attitude control of a class of flexible satelliteunder restrained control is presented. The target of the variable structure systemis changed step by step according to the bounded control, which makes the controlinputs under the bound of the execution. Thereby a equivalent unbounded variablestructure control system comes into being which satisfies the reaching condition ofsliding mode.
