In this paper,not only has an analytical procedure to determine various chemical elements in chondrites been developed,but also their contents in 9 chondrites have been determined.In addition,chemical parameters were calculated.According to their chemical composition and parameters,we can come to the following conclusions:1.The 9 chondrites belong to 3 chemical groups,H (Lunan,Tuochi,Xinyang),L (Jartai,Xiwu,Rugao,Lishui,Guangrao) and LLgroup (Dongtai).2.Fe
0 and the ratio of FeO/Fe decrease from Hto LL,but FeOand FeSincrease,It means that the degree of oxidation is growing higher.3.The contents of SiO
2 also increase from H to LL whereas TFe,Ni and Co decrease.The variation rule can be used as the reference criteria to distingush the chemical groups of chondrites.4.The contents of SiO
2,MgO,FeO,Fe
0 FeS and TFe in chondrites from Eugao determined earlier have been corrected.
