1. Open access

Chinese Journal of Space Science (CJSS) is an open access journal. Once published, all articles will be immediately and permanently free for everyone to read and download.

2. Peer Review

In order to evaluate the scientific, innovative and practical nature of manuscripts, CJSS operates a single anonymized review process under the responsibility of the Editorial Board of CJSS. Firstly, all contributions will be preliminarily reviewed by the editorial office, chief editor/deputy chief editor. Secondly, they will be peer-reviewed (by 2 or more peer reviewers). Thirdly, they will be finally reviewed by the deputy chief editor and chief editor. The Editor-in-Chief is responsible for the final decision regarding the acceptance or rejection of articles.

3. User Rights and Author Rights

The Creative Commons is used by CJSS to allow third-party users to share in the form of CC-BY. That is, the published articles can be opened immediately and permanently on the website and accessed freely. Journal Owner allows users to read, download, copy, print, search or link to the full text of the article, or use it for other legitimate purposes. However, in these processes, the author's signature must be retained. At the same time, the author can use the paper for other purposes. The full details of the license are available at https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/.

4. Article Processing Charge

To provide open access, CJSS has an open access fee (also known as an article publishing charge, APC) which needs to be paid by the authors or by their research funder or institution. The accepted manuscripts should pay 300 RMB yuan per printed page, additional 1600 yuan for more than one color page or 800 yuan for only one color page.
