Abstract

Abstract

In this paper, CN and C₂ isophotes of both comets Tago-Sato-Kosaka (1969Ⅸ) and Bennett (1970Ⅱ) obtained by J. Rahe are used to obtain their average radial intensity distributions. Using Haser's formula, scale lengths of daughter and its parent molecules have been obtained by comparision of observation with theory.
