The dissipation energy ratio of kinetic Alfven waves between proton and electrons is calculated in details based on the dissipation principle of kinetic Alfven waves. It provides a simple explanation of the fact of the higher proton temperature compared with electrons in high speed stream of the solar wind. The rapid cooling of electrons at r<10Rs is explained qualitatively.
