  •  China's space station operates in a low-Earth orbit at approximately 400 km altitude with an inclination of about 42°. The primary space environmental factors affecting the station are space radiation and atmospheric conditions, both of which are influenced by solar activity. The National Space Science Center (NSSC) of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) is responsible for providing space environment forecasting services to support the space station's operations, including mission execution and astronauts' extravehicular activities (EVAs). This paper reviews recent advances in solar and solar wind forecasting, space radiation environment  and atmospheric environment predictions , while also discussing future development needs for space environment forecasting technologies.
