中国科学院国家空间科学中心原主任（2005-2017），中国空间科学学会理事长（2016-至今），俄罗斯科学院外籍院士，国际宇航科学院（IAA）院士（Full Member），美国电子与电气工程师协会（IEEE）会士（Fellow）。长期从事空间科学探测计划系统设计和微波遥感技术研究。曾任我国“地球空间双星探测计划”应用系统总设计师，国家重大科技基础设施“子午工程（I期）”总经理，嫦娥一号、三号探测器有效载荷总指挥，中国科学院空间科学先导专项（I期）负责人。

Former Director of the National Space Science Center of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (2005-2017), President of the Chinese Society of Space Research since 2016, Foreign Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Full Member of the International Academy of Astronautics (IAA), Fellow of the American Institute of Electronic and Electrical Engineers (IEEE). He has engaged in the design of space science exploration program systems and research on microwave remote sensing technology for a long time. He was the chief designer of the application system of China's Geospace Double Star Exploration Project, the general manager of the "Meridian Project (Phase I)", the chief commander of the payloads of Chang'E-1 and Chang'E-3 probes, and the director of Space Science Pilot Project (Phase I) of the Chinese Academy of Sciences.
